Benoite Groult

Novelist and essayist famous for her feminist commitment, Benoîte Groult was born in 1920 in Paris. She first taught French then became a journalist. After collaborating on various magazines, in 1978 she co-founded F Magazine, a feminist monthly magazine. It was with her sister Flora that she wrote her first works, including Journal à quatre mains, adapted for the theater and performed in 2009 (Molière 2009). La part des choses (The Part of Things), published in 1972, is his first solo book. Benoîte Groult died on June 20, 2016.
